Delivery Information

How do I get an update on my order ?

As we are a drop ship platform and do not hold any stock, deliveries are the responsibility of each individual distributors selling wine on Wholsale.Cellars.com.au.

Upon completing your payment transaction, the winery or distributor is automatically sent your order via email .

In most cases, wines are dispatched from wine distributor within 24 hours of receiving your order. Once the wine is despatched from their warehouse, you may receive an email confirming the date of despatch, tracking number and shipping provider (Australia Post, Fastway, etc). Not all wine distributors are able to provide tracking order numbers as their Third Party Logistics (3PL) provider does not have this capability.

During busy periods, despatch may take longer depending on the wine distributor. Delivery time from dispatch remains the responsibility of each individual winery yet are typically 7 to 10 days.

Why do some orders take longer than others ?

Delivery times will vary depending on which state the wine distributors is warehousing the wine. Deliveries from warehouses in one state to your licenced premises in another state can take up to 10-12 days . Major courier carriers including Australia Post do have  delays depending on where you are located.

Shipping rates are provided to Cellars.com.au by the wineries and passed to our customers at cost. It does happen that wines can be damaged in transit and if so, we will notify you. If you provide an incorrect shipping address at the time of order, please contact us directly. Where possible, please include a mobile phone number of the person receiving the wine so Australia Post or the courier can contact you.

If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID, then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.
