Description
One of the best-kept secrets in Australian viticulture, Langhorne Creek is one of Australia’s oldest wine regions and is nestled among gum trees on the Bremer and Angas rivers.
Premium wines require premium grapes. Bremerton Wines has planted 290 acres at Langhorne Creek from which we select our best fruit each year with the balance being sold to other wineries. Best quality practices ensure best quality grapes.
The predominant varieties grown by Bremerton Wines are Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, with plantings of Sauvignon Blanc, Verdelho, Chardonnay, Malbec and Petit Verdot.
Whilst Langhorne Creek is famous for its Cabernet Sauvignon, the region also produces full bodied Shiraz and Malbec. In recent years these classics have been joined by some of Australia’s most thrilling wines being made from alternative varieties. Varieties like Fiano, Vermentino, Lagrein and Tempranillo are capturing critics’ attention for their superb varietal expression as captured through the lens of Langhorne Creek’s extraordinary terroir.
